How do we create ceramics

Every Artisanis piece begins with a simple yet powerful element—raw clay. Shaped by skilled hands on the potter’s wheel, each form is carefully crafted, ensuring balance, durability, and a timeless aesthetic.

Once shaped, the pieces undergo a slow, patient drying process, lasting 21 days. This natural curing ensures the clay stabilizes, preventing cracks and imperfections. After drying, the first firing—known as the bisque firing—takes place at a lower temperature, strengthening the clay while maintaining its porous nature, ready to absorb glaze.

Next comes the transformation. Each piece is carefully glazed by hand, whether in a transparent finish to highlight the raw beauty of the clay or in customized colors and textures that reflect the soul of the space it will serve. The final firing, reaching 1000-1300°C, vitrifies the clay, sealing its strength and durability while bringing the glaze to life.

The result? A piece that carries the mark of craftsmanship, designed to endure the heat of professional kitchens and the artistry of culinary presentation. Every plate, mug, and bowl tells a story—of fire, patience, and human touch.
